The first thing you did in this thread was post what you claimed was video of someone from the Philippines being violently killed by someone and associate that imagery with Muslims and their God - Allah, who just happens to be the God of Abraham, the same God worshipped by Jews and Christians.

The next post you graphically described someone having their knee injured and associated it in the same way.

You then suggested an entire protest was chanting particularly offensive things and said they should all be monitored by secret police while pushing the trope that immigrants are bad and people who worship the God of Abraham don't understand our values.

You then posted a horrific image and then tried to justify it while minimising Nazis. The same Nazis that made of a hero of Brenton Tarrant after he murdered a bunch of women and children in their place of worship.

Where they worshiped the same God the Jews and Christians do.

So you did talk about Israel originally, as well as promoting atrocity propaganda from that conflict between Israel and ... Gaza, which isn't even a country just a place where people live. Barely.

This isn't a good way to drum up support for the people of Ukraine.

The relationship between Zelensky/'mainstream Ukraine' and Azov is a thorny one, as you well know. Hell, a lot of the Azov fighters don't support Zelensky at all. Once this war is over, if Zelensky is still President I'm sure there'll be tensions there.

But both sides have a more pressing matter to deal with; a fascist dictator has invaded their country. That tends to take precedence.

You know all of this though. You're not an idiot, despite how you seem keen to portray yourself as a contrarian geo-political edgelord thinking that it makes you look like an iconoclastic intellectual (it doesn't, btw).

Azov sucks. But this is the real world and Ukranian 'nationalists' are of course going to team up with Ukranian regulars in the fight against a worse enemy.

Fair enough, but after being called a nazi sympathiser and a wanna be war criminal I left and now refuse to engage with those people.

just rolled over 40 years in uniform, and one thing I do know is that these types of people are cowards who wouldn’t have the guts to say it to one’s face, and engaging with them is toxic.

1. My comments about the Israeli / Gaza situation were made in reaction to seeing the images of civilian victims across twitter. Any accusational comments were solely directed at extremists such as Hamas, sorry if they came off in other ways.

2. I'm not minimising the presence of Nazi groups in Ukraine, they do exist unfortunately and are a problem, however due to the Russian invasion I understand the need for manpower, which I hope is the sole reason the Ukranian government is working with them.

3. I shouldn't have directly attached the image, it was simply taken from a video compilation showed during a United Nations meeting, I had posted it to strongly highlight why the Russian invaders cannot be allowed to occupy Ukranian people and land.

The rhetoric of some posters on here seems to be that the majority of Ukranians are Nazis and the West should stop providing military aid, while posting statements like this:

The Russians could do this and far more all day every day to Ukranian cities but don't.

Ignoring the hundreds of images and videos of apartment buildings destroyed by Russian missiles and drones. There's a reason air defence systmes were one of the biggest items given to Ukraine, they were able to help protect their cities from constant swarms of Russian attacks.

I have said this in previous iterations of threads like this; I actually genuinely learn things by reading the thoughts of everyone that posts in here, even if it sometimes skirts the line. Some of the stuff in here today was beyond educational, crossed the line and devolved into personal attacks. Please keep posting in good faith and challenging others' opinions as healthily as possible. If you see something disagreeable, report it.
