We finished 9th.

Yeah I just watched the replay and he said 'since the club's inception in 1925' Seemed odd to me maybe he did mean 'induction'?? Anyways it still sucks that not all the club's premierships are counted by the AFL

Please don't.. You sound like a Port supporter..

Hi everyone - been looking at Trove which is the National Library of Australia digital search engine. One of the papers it has online is the North Melbourne Advertiser which existed for the last three decades of the 19th Century which include match reports from the period. Here is one from September 1873 from a game played between the "Northerners" and the Tiges at Richmond Paddock which proves that Tigers supporters have always been feral: http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/printArticleJpg/71564666/3?print=n

Great contribution CM.

The two clubs hated each other in the VFA days culminating in Richmond forfeiting the 1904 VFA grand final.

Hi all, enjoying the thread. Have come across a West Perth V North Melbourne programme from mar 22 1969. Anyone know who won the match? Did North play any other sides on the trip?

Hi Kangas,

Apologies for being a Collingwood supporter, but I was wondering if any of you know where i might be able to find any images of Osbourne (Ossie) Parks. He wore the number 29 for the roos between 1934-1941.

He's my grandfather ( since deceased ). I know it would give my mother (his daughter) a thrill.

I've found some on the Yarraville Eagles site, but am looking to see him in a kangas jumper.

Appreciate your time.
