The story goes that Ron Barassi used this image to motivate players during the 1975 finals campaign. Apparently he got multiple copies and placed in the lockers of every player.

A photo I took at Arden St. Round 20 15 August 1981. Kerry Good (no.7) and Kym Hodgeman (no.17) can be seen near the goal square. They kicked 14 goals between them that day (Good 10 Hodgeman 4) Glendinning was B.O.G.

Mate, how ******* good is that!!! Captures an angle you never see on the old YouTube clips. I could sit here looking at that for hours. I probably will. Brings back some memories

The old brick grandstand has gone and work is commencing on the new administration building. I managed to score a couple of bricks from the old grandstand.

Try to fathom how good this bloke must have been when you look at those distinctions from only 132 games.

Jeez the old turnstiles. Makes me think of waiting in the dark for Mum and Dad to leave the Social Club(kids weren’t allowed in) after I ran out of daylight for kick to kick on the ground. The steps down and then squeezing out through the Social Club entrance.

Good times.

I used to work across the road at Floors of Australia. Every Friday was long lunch time with my boss Frosty and Johnny Blakey pulling the beers and wagging the chin.

Part of my initial job interview was "who do you barrack for Groggy?"
