Kicked a life goal today. Played a game of senior cricket with both my boys (14 and 16). Also knocked a half ton with a Dorothy off the last ball of the innings to bring it up. Won by about 130 runs. Good day.

Anyone else pained by having to listen to Mark Howard’s commentary on Fox.

The guy is so shallow with minimal interest and insight into the actual game.

For him the game is all about “entertainment” and entertainers as though it were some sort of clown show or performing elephants or something.

Uses words like box office, show, performance and the like.
All the other commentators are starting to do the same thing as though they have a sheet with “entertainment“ words that they are supposed to use.

Just seen a great T20 innings by Maxwell but it’s lost on him.

He seems to think his irrelevant anecdotes are more interesting than the game. Yuk!

Feel sad for Dorf as this is either a sign that he is a never was at international level or has just got picked and then played his absolute worst cricket (maybe a bit of both) but it likely kills any chance he has on the international stage again.

Yes, he's a complete dickhead. I only watch Fox Cricket if I have to due to his trash commentary.

A real shame in the U19 final. England obviously had the moral victory despite finishing 7th. They just know that they were robbed of a win keeping them out of the semi finals which would have then all gone to plan and they would have lifted the title. A terrible shame and made the whole series a sham.

At least that's what I heard according to Jonny Bairstow.
