well it's just you're going on about him like he's some important guy. but it turns out he's just a supporter who posts stuff about his own team on his own team board. he might even be a dick head supporter who posts arrogant stuff about his own team on his own team board.

there's a fair few people on here a bit like that.

Agree. Why do we give a shit what he says?

sorry guys, do you want to proof my posts before they go up and make sure you're happy with them?

just generally this obsession some of you guys have about bringing over posts made by guys about their own team on their team board onto here and then mocking them is silly and on one board I post at, would be considered trolling. It's far more sad than some of the 'Delusional Pearlers' those people say

Kong

Laurie Brookes long-time doorman at Carlton from about 1960 to the 1990's was the father of Judy Moran - who was married to Lewis Moran, who was the brother of Des 'Tuppence Moraan and Judy and Lewis were the parents of Jason Moran and Mark Moran.

Believe that Brock Mclean, thru his uncle Ricky Mclean ( ex Rich family ) are related to the Moran's.

And the ' Carlton Crew ' religiously attended training sessions AT CFC in the 1990's and 2000's.

OK.

So we're 2nd (1.6% off 1st) and beat the top team by 10 goals (and the 4th team easily as well), with GWS & Melbourne to come after a tricky Richmond fixture this week.

Lovely. Thanks Carlton.

Who the hell cares if someone is "important" or not. Bit ironic wasting 4 posts to carry on about why someone is "important" VS one post calling out in a non-essendon thread.

It's fun to call the opposition out on the shit they say, especially if it's Carlton.

Bottom line is, that post was energizing. **** yeah.

Suck shit blues.

Or to walk along the "non-essendon" route... they have Adelaide in Adelaide next week.

That's all that needs to be said.

:D

I was in getting an MRI last friday, Brock McLean was in front of me, didn't have the balls to ask if the scan for his footy ability came up negative.

SLURRRRRRRP SLURRRRRRP SLURRRRRRPing up that bathwater at Pratt Park!

Watters got wise. Target the soft frontrunners and they'll fold like deck chairs. Beautiful to watch. Loved the Tip just gnawing his way through.

Great round of results. :thumbsu:

Oh, Blues, a swarming bunch of delusional loons in victory, a critical meltdown mass in defeat. Always a great read.

Waking up and finding out that Carlton has lost is always a wonderful way to start the day.

Yeah I did know that... because of Underbelly :o

From the "DP" thread (ewwwww)
re-Carlton
All hatred aside (well, there's only so much you can put aside), the reason they're so good is because of their coaching. They are usually so well drilled and in unison, that until recently I was envious.

If they were forced to play one on one footy, they'd get cut up.

You don't have the likes of Ellard, Armfield, Curnow, Tuohy, Laidler, Joseph and co in your best side if you're laden with talent.

I'm less and less convinced by Ratten as the days go by.

Whatever gameplan is in place, wasn't working.
I thought he was convincingly out-coached last night. He couldn't get Simpson, Murphy, Gibbs, or Garlett around the ball anywhere near enough and he couldn't find workable targets.
Shockingly, Waite struggled until he went to the wing, and the move of Jamison forward failed.
He said, in that half-time interview, that Alan Richardson normally runs training - and he sure as heck wasn't sitting in the box, making the moves.

Ratten had front-row seats to see how Nick Reiwoldt plays - a real CHF, despite being well off his best. That's what they (still) need. Broken record, ain't it?
A forward line isn't judged by how many it kciks in a route - it's how well it can adapt with what the defence throws at them and still kick a score.

Yeah I still don't rate Ratten as a game day coach.

I've noticed the change in their side since Richardson and Brown (and there's another now, isn't there?) went across, whether that's just co-incidence or not I don't know.

It's a sad day when Luke Darcy points out where an AFL coach could improve.

Ratten allowed the Saints to have 40 players around the ball at all times in the last quarter, which played right into the hands of the side already 4 goals up.

Why you wouldn't create space for your two quickest and most dangerous forwards to work with, I don't understand.

Amazing that Ratten still sat on the bench at Subiaco... where it's sunken and you can see even less than you normally would.

He sits there and just barracks. I'm sure he's very good with the players (in fact I'm positive that he's turned that around in the last 2 years or so), but lawdy, how can you coach in this day and age sitting in a pit with no vision?

Ratts: "Juddy to midfield"

Yep he's already in the guts mate.
