At what point do they stop numbering the showdown/derby/Q Clash (wtf name?)? Just seems to sound stupider and stupider as the number gets higher, going to sound even dumber when it gets to something like showdown 79.

In reality it is 4 years in a row for the Saints as they made 2 prelims before the GF defeats and you have to be at your top to get to a prelim as it involves 14 plus wins and at least 1 final win.
A few in the group may have played in 4 prelims and 3 Grand Finals for zero in the last 8 years.
At some stage you reach that mental breaking point.

Tigs still shit. Laid on some goals in injury time but just no good in the actual contest.
Backline soft. Just get Crameri to line up Houli a couple of times, like the Dogs did, he's out of the game. Very nice run & spread and a good clever forward, keeps them in a lot of games, but that's about it.

Hate saying this but the Blues are not far away, if they can find a way to keep sides out of the game after a good start from themselves they could challenge.
They need more scoring from the periods of the game they dominate.

As for the Cats, well the never say die lives on, they just keep coming at sides all game and when they start kicking the ball more they look as good as it gets.

Sydney are not any good. They are still winning only by reducing the game to a scrap-fest. Basically, hack, hack, hack. They will make top 8, but not top 4 and will not cause much trouble in the finals.
