Our pressure is as good right now as I can ever remember it. Zone work was terrific, although Melbourne were horrid. Just completely lost confidence.

The only think that's costing us is a little bit of class in the middle and better kicking for goal. We'd be 5-0 right now with a bit of luck.

Now, I hate Essendon as much as the next footy follower but you Essendon lads are good quality. Best of luck for next week with what should be a good quality game, hope we don't get your coach sacked this year.

I actually found myself getting a bit concerned at how we are going to man up all their talls, Kennedy, Darling, Lynch, Nicnat and Cox. Not to mention Le Cras (hopefully he pulls up sore). We will really be stretched in the big man department.

Round 3: Saints - StK had an extra 2 days playing the previous Fri (we were Sunday)
Round 4: Blues - Blues had an extra 2 days playing the previous Fri (we were Sunday)
Round 5: Pies - Pies had an extra day break playing the previous Fri (we were Saturday)
Round 6: GC - GC has an extra 2 days playing the previous Sat (we were Monday)
Round 7: WCE - Eagles had an extra 3 days playing the previous Thurs (we were Sunday)

After a quick inspection... Lions will have an extra day break for the round 8 clash and then we'll have the extra day on Richmond for round 9.

Just to clarify, I'm not whinging but it is interesting to note the difference in breaks.

Now that the TV rights have been released it is good to know that we will have every game broadcast on HD TV live.

Excellent news. Sick of watching Seven's SD broadcast.

It will be interesting to see whether Foxtel's prices will increase with the new channel. I have read it will be part of their sports package so at least we won't have to pay for an extra channel seperately.
