I would add the word incompetent though. The main reason Real, United, Barça, Inter etc wanted to do this is because their admin have loaded the clubs with maaaaaaaassssssive debt on the assumption that because conditions were good for business once they always will be. Then COVID.

All they want to do is remove risk to ensure revenue. Poor dears now have to compete with everyone else.
 
Now the Glazers can follow that campaigner Woodward out the door.

The thing is, this is quite a regular occurrence, this is the furtherest they have gotten
It’s only a matter of time until they try again
Hopefully, this will spark change
