There can be only one...
Speaking of greatest of all time Dane Rampe, his comments to an umpire... "You talk like a little girl."

If it was a North player, there would have been a 6 month investigation including regular anal probes before finding us not guilty but fining us $80k for the hell of it regardless.

A lot of the disrespect for umpires comes from the AFL never admitting they sometimes get it horribly wrong.
Only makes their job more difficult when they don't even understand how the game is adjudicated depending on what week it is.

AFL's getting it horribly wrong on a near weekly basis.

BT said that it can be said either way today on MMM and he also said he doesn’t care how it’s pronounced which confirms the Tv interview I saw him in at the start of the season

It’s Basil being an obnoxious know it all

With the hard A's they are using, no, it's not, regardless of what Orazio insists.
Of course. English orthography doesn’t make it easy to represent in writing the flat 'a' that all the Romance languages share. And I cbf doing it in IPA.

A song about footballers showing courage, unselfishness and imagination contains good examples of correct pronunciation.

Look, I hate * as much as anybody, but this was a clear-cut indisputable free that was missed. Every umpire should have seen that Sydney bloke climbing the post, and there is no excuse for them ignoring it. For the bloke in charge of the AFL to go on the radio and say it's a matter of context, well that's also inexcusable.

Dees have played absolutely awful 2 weeks in a row and somehow won both.

They have West Coast & GWS over the next fortnight, and then Adelaide & Collingwood before the bye, so we'll get a good look at the real Melbourne.
