Didnt think to grab one as its pretty weak to delete a post after you get called out. It was in the port wow thread, and imach was the username. The post was quoted so is still there just further down :thumbsu:
Yeah, it was quoted by me. Got him now in the gameday thread.

Don't mind seeing Port up and about. Despite the floggings and the arrogant tossers Cornes and Tredrea they are a decent club IMO.

Be nice when we smash them next week.

Just watched the Port / Eagles last quarter. Damn they are good. Boys will need to be on the top of their game to win, Port are red hot atm.

The meltdown on the WCE board is hilarious.

Port are proving what a cruisey draw does to a team in the first few rounds. Heaps of confidence now and could be tough to beat.

We will definitely be their toughest opponent so far though. GWS, GC and Melb speak for themselves. Adelaide are scared of Port in the local derby and WCE are hopeless at the moment.

We better show up and put them back in their place.

a replay of last years capitulation to port should be compulsory viewing for entire list and coaches prior to this game, no more motivation needed
This. And after the capitulation starts hopefully a leader stands up and says "we don't need to see anymore, won't happen again" (or something along those lines).

Not sure where to post this but here goes

AFL players often get labelled meatheads who can only kick a footy, but who is the smartest player at your club?

NORTH MELBOURNE

assistant coach Shane Watson

1. SAM GIBSON
“When you hear him talk he sounds smart as well, he might well be bluffing a few, but he’s got the runs on the board. He’s well schooled, got a commerce/engineering degree. He had a full-time job as a civil engineer before coming here.’’

2. JAMIE MACMILLAN
“He’s a pretty intelligent guy, but we’re always getting in to him because we reckon he’s pretty good on the book smarts, but not so good on the street smarts. He’s improved a lot in that area to be fair, but he used to be really gullible at the start.’’

3. ANDREW SWALLOW

“He reckons he’s pretty smart, but I reckon where Sam Gibson is a genuine smart Andrew is a bit of bluff. He looks the part, but just because you carry around folders making it look like you’ve got a lot going on doesn’t necessarily make you intelligent. I reckon he’s got a good balance of street smarts and actual smarts though.”
