well done hamish, good to see him get through unscathed and have an influence on proceedings
Came in here to see the north opinions of hamish back. Class posting by everyone here regards to hamish, nothing but respect and well wishing. Cheers guys! I actually really like the relationship our two clubs have. Don't sense any hostility at all. Only thing that North has messed up for me is I tipped them top four last year and the premiership this year!

We all wanted what was best for Hamish, he was a champion bloke and a real clubman. it was sad to see him go but it was best for our footy club and best for Hamish. im hoping he continues his injury free run!

Don't see a lot of him in the media but if he's anything like his best mate Grima then you'd expect him to be a great guy.

Hope the Cats do something great with him leading the way in the centre of the ground.

asking because i dont really have any recollection of him playing with north, last thursday night was really a first impression for me in many ways. in his prime footballing days/years at north, how good a player was he?

Bash and crash ruckman (in that he liked to smack the ball around), didn't really have the finesse that Goldstein does in the ruck IMO but he got the ball where it needed to go.
Very handy mark, not in quantity but in that he could take one when it was really needed. Decent enough in front of goal (except after the siren vs *essendon).

Always his body that let him down though. Very likeable character and a lot sad to see him go when he was traded, but also knew that in the long run it was for the best.

Because Mick rolls the dice and tries stuff. I saw Everitt win a centre clearance.

You think Scott would ever throw somebody like Wright or MacMillan in the centre square?
