They sure do. They really are getting the most out of their players and jesus christ are they developing quickly. Look to have scary pace and work rate.
No side can sustain that throughout the whole season.....it scary the way the run that ball, but I doubt they're able to do that in september.

Seriously? Look at the size of em mate. They are contested ball players, not oneway runners. To me, they play exactly the way we'd like to play. They move the ball quickly, use their 3 big fwd targets, and pressure the opposition madly to get the pill back. They've got some blokes with serious weapons too.

Heard Clarkson interviewed on SEN this morning and they were asking about recruiting and how they pulled off some deals, specifically Gibson and Macevoy. He was extremely diplomatic about Gibson leaving North - basically said that the big lure was that Hawthorn wanted him to play CHB all the time, while North had Grima and Thompson coming through and were using Gibson in different roles.
I listened to that too. Basically poached him. Well played.

Crunch time is the best footy show out of the lot I reckon, including all the ones on tv

NUFC, YES.
We beat Port in Tassie when they were 5 zip so we should be comfortable getting the points at home.
38-15 free kick count in your favour (biggest such discrepancy since 1993) probably won't happen again. Unless Shane McInerney is on the ticket. *shudders*

Swallow was also immense that day. A supremely talented footballer.

I mean they won't be able to sustain that run and carry.....we played like that and got found out and the arse end of the season ( 2012)....thats why we're "tweaking" with our defensive set up. We don't run both ways....thats for sure. But its early days....LB2

Port have top 4 written all over them.

They have weapons all over the field and bat very deep.
Very even and their bottom 6 players are very good.

Our bottom 6 players rely on one of our gun players to get them the ball.
Our Drafting looks not to be that great now.

I was very impressed by Port as well. Wouldn't consider their list any better than ours, just an extremely well coached side. How so many sides over looked Hinkley is beyond me. If we don't show some pretty big improvements today we will have our arses handed to us on a plate next week.

Yep the free kick count is why we won. Port was frustrated and undisciplined all game and the scoreline flatters you. We took the foot off at the end

yeah, Im also haunted.....oh Dirty one. A fraction of me hates Geelong for it........and Tudor.
The Tudor thing makes me laugh because he was so shit that the only reason the ball went to the goal square is because he couldn't even get the ball to spin properly off his boot. Just a turd ridden floater. I quietly spewed a little when he came back this year. I personally believe his input is one of the reasons we are currently struggling.

Really? I reckon we have been pretty patient. Hoping like hell it all comes together pretty damn quickly. Just gonna sit around like a nervous wreck all arvo till it's time to head to the dome. Hate 4.40 time slot with a passion.
