Anyone else hear on the radio this morning about Carlton wanting to be an industry leader in anti gambling. Ironically this stance was taken immediately after they were dumped by William Hill.

As stated on the radio this is a great initiative....or would be if they weren't generating revenue from pokies.o_O

And if someone else wasn't doing it first without wanting to be a media hog.

Yep, the irony is delicious... Arnt we the only club out of the 7 that doesnt take revenue from pokies? If anyone should be getting praised for their stance on gambling its us, the rest should be getting called out for hypocrisy!

I thought it was Luke Shuey.

Easy mistake to make, I suppose.
In the corner of a seedy Romanian tavern, Ashton Hams just threw his glass at the wall and said to nobody in particular "and I used to be somebody".

Hopefully they will have a PS4 or Apple TV app and subscription plans.

**** Foxtel - they'll be dead in 5-10 years and I can't wait to dance on their grave.
In the mean time though it's a pain in the arse - and the hip pocket - that various soccer competitions and the AFL are spread across 3 or 4 different services.

New NRL CEO was formerly Head of Football and Bulldogs CEO.

... should be fun for them.
If he's Western Bulldogs then it's only a matter of time before he plagiarises, probably cutting the Soccer deal's grass with Optus as we speak..

Check this pain. You either have an Optus service or you are getting no EPL what so ever.

Exciting news for EPL fans and Fetch TV. Optus has announced that the EPL will be available on Optus TV with Fetch for Optus broadband customers. We'll be showing every match live on up to 10 dedicated channels when the new season kicks off in August. If you have broadband from another provider you'll be able to get EPL when you take up an eligible Optus mobile phone plan with the soon to be released Fetch TV Mini (more info on the Mini coming soon). Optus hasn't announced any details on pricing or bundles just yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything.

Unfortunately, the EPL won’t be available to Fetch TV customers of other ISPs, and we still don't have details as to whether it will be available for our retail customers.

Eugh that is awful. It will be illegal streams for me next season. But there's also a very good website that uploads full replays of games from just about all the major European leagues very shortly after they finish so I'm sure I'll make do, but it's still a lot less convenient and accessible than the current situation.

I'll have to learn what that website is.
