Nah, that was a crowd of about 40k between Carlton and Collingwood. A now meaningless rivalry between two clubs that can't get out of their own way.

I recall they had 20k or so in against Fremantle on an arctic night when they were going like a busted arse

When you're nearing a decade in the top job without significant success and questions about a rebuild are in the air, then yeah it's probably time.

Hell most coaches don't even survive half as long if they end in the same situation.
