They seriously thought they'd pinch a flag with Steele surrounded by B grade mids.

No real chf, mostly b-grade mids, very similar nuggety small forwards and poor kpds outside Howard (who is an interceptor, not a fullback). Very one-paced too.

Battle goes alright. For me it's their midfield. Most good sides have one mid the calibre of Ross, Jones or Crouch but the Saints think that having two of them at every bounce will win them a flag lol.

Heard the same but I wonder if they might just let it play out a little longer and see how the second half plays out for them. Unlikely anyone is going to try and poach Rattan so they have that on their side.
