Ugh, the fawning over Watson at the end of the game today was genuinely nauseating.
It's not sad to see him go at all. In fact, good riddance as it's another stain on the integrity of the game gone, and an important one at that as he was the person who led his team mates down the rabbit hole. The sooner all the culprits are out of the AFL the better.
And, as Lingy and co were calling him, champ? Come on, the guy played a solitary season of AFL that was above ok and even that was only because he was on PED's. He was a decent, ordinary, solid citizen type who wanted to be better and tried to get there by duping the competition. That's his legacy.
