Pretty good band too, from my not too recent past.

"Don't tear it down" is a rip-snorting track and my favourite. Heard it again last night for the first time in 25 years. I could never decipher if the name of the band was "Spy v Spy" or "v Spy v Spy" ??

Mad magazine turned the legal screws, so they had to add the 'V' at the start of their name. IIRC, it was fairly early in the piece, so for the bulk of their career they were officially known as 'V Spy V Spy'.

(Have a real soft spot for the Spys. All those hours watching 'B-B-B-Beatbox' as a kid. "Snowblind" gets the gong for my personal fave.)

Yeah, that's how I remember the first v appearing as well.

Boy, I had some fun at Spy's gigs. Great energy live.

Hale and Gibson helped them to premierships so I reckon our relationship is still the 'standard'
Carlton usually bag an unexpected few hundred bucks out of the deal while the tiges get the enjoyment of discovering their new wheels is actually 2 wrecks stuck together and filled with bog a few months later.

Our relationship with the hawks is much classier. They at least detail the vehicle first and wind the clock back before spinning us the "well we didn't really want to sell that one, the bombers were just in here earlier saying to put it aside they'll be back with a 2nd rounder this afternoon" spiel.

Must be nice being able to have sponsorship rights on your taxpayer funded stadium.
Read the "Is this the biggest ever league endorsed rort" thread on the mainboard if you want a good laugh.

Cat's fans whinging about having to play a game or two in Melbourne and how everyone else should shoulder the burden of Etihad etc.

Delusional twats.
