I did say we might regret not adding him as the 2nd SSP if we moved Thredgold onto the LTI.
I just thought he'd be the type of chip on my shoulder kid who'd impress in the VFL.
His short kicking composure needs some work, but a lot to like with his strengths.
Athletic, leap, good tank, toughness, competitor, tackles, executes his role (defensive mid/wing/fwd/back).

It's not like the sons of former AFL greats are going to lack for coaching, facilities, opportunities, etc. If they've made it to draft year without ever showing any obvious AFL-level talent, what's the chance there are huge reserves of untapped upside there? Was any other club likely to draft them?
