Something good came from these Mayweather/McGregor reports. I've seen people who actually think that McGregor has any sort of a chance against Mayweather in boxing. I got a good laugh out of seeing that.

the fact that the reported revenue split would be 7% Conor and floyd 93% leads even less credibility to it.

Conor fights in a 100 mil fight and accepts 7 mil hahaha he would just about make that in the UFC fighting a broomstick with gloves duct taped on.

it's laughable.. mcgregor has a contract with the UFC. end of.

the UFC would only let it happen if they were the promoter, and floyd wouldn't let that happen so it's just ridiculous.

I can't see it happening it be the end of mcgeggor. I wouldn't put it pass the UFC to let this slip if they were going to get something out of it. But with both Connor and floyd talking nah contracts aside I can't Se them agreeing to anything really

This fight taking place may seem an impossibility, but it would have the best build up ever and would be beneficial for both boxing and MMA.

I wonder if there is any way this could be worked out contractually for Conor as the UFC could make a massive payday if it could work on co-promoter terms.

Floyd is the highest generating fighter in combat sports history. The UFC should really look at ways to see if they could make this work.

I can see this "fight" happening. Makes sense why mcgregor got pulled from 200. Both mayweather and conor are obsessed with money and fame and this bout has the potential to be the biggest in history. Both of them would love to have it in their legacy

It also may force mayweather to be more aggressive. He will be expected to dismantle conor, would not want to leave the bout go long enough that it can be said

- he was too careful against an mma foghter
-intimidated of an mma fighter
- not confident in his own abilites by not fighting aggressive against an mma fighter

Ronda Rousey was at a WWE Wrestlemania event years ago.

Granted the stuff she did in there ring was scripted and very little. UFC did allow it.

Ronda had a great working relationship with the UFC at the time though and the UFC figured Ronda going there and looking good would only help them. Sending Conor in to a boxing ring with the best P4P fighter of the last decade where they don't have a say in the outcome and likely makes Conor look amateur makes no sense.
