Don't know if this has been posted here, not that I've seen

Channel 10 have picked it up from 9 and it will be shown on Tuesdays soon (after Miriam's finished I think)

I've never seen it before, what is it?
Nine tried it over summer, only lasted a couple of weeks. Ten are advertising it as now being 'where it belongs' (on Ten instead of Nine). That pretty much sums it up.

"The O.C., also known as Orange County, California, is an idyllic paradise – a wealthy, harbour-front community where everything and everyone appears to be perfect. But beneath the surface is a world of shifting loyalties and identities, of kids living secret lives hidden from their parents, and of parents living secret lives hidden from their children. 'The O.C.' tells the story of the Cohen, Cooper, and Nichol families, and Ryan Atwood, a troubled teen from the wrong side of the tracks, who is thrust into this world, and who will forever change the lives of the residents of The O.C. "

Any idea if it's starting again from the pilot? I missed one or two episodes when it was on 9, but absolutely loved it.

For those who haven't watched it, it's one of those teen drama shows, but with a bit more substance than crap like Dawson's Creek.

So has Ten really picked it up? If so, thank god! Hopefully they'll play the first 4 episodes again. I have seen most of the season anyway, but it would be good if they can play it from the beginning. In a way I was kinda hoping that it would be shown late at night because I don't want everyone to realise what a great show it is and it turn into a Dawsons Creek.

Me too, but there is a hidden meaning to all Channel 10's ads and it means that The OC will be really good and I'll get right into it and then Channel 10 will do what they always do when they screen soaps I love....PULL IT FROM THE STATION WITHOUT A MOMENTS NOTICE or KILL IT DURING THE FINAL SEASON AND STICK IT ON AT SOME UNGODLY HOUR LIKE 1.30AM

The OC will air at 8:30 from Tuesday 22 June.
Channel 10 will start from the first episode of the first series.
It's hoped that it will gain a strong following, particularly because it's in the former timeslot of Melrose Place, Beverley Hills 90210 and Dawson's Creek.
We managed to poach it from Nine when they decided not to show it anymore, and there is no doubt that it is a very god drama

Does anyone remember Now and Again, or Now And Then, where this guy (played by John Goodman) dies and then is "re-born" (so to speak into a like) superhero's body? Channel 10 pulled that off with the episode hanging on a To Be Continued...and it never continued.

But then again on Channel 10, I just believe they should play Seinfield, AT LEAST once a week. :) I only barely get to catch it on my way to work in the morning on TV1. It needs to come back on Channel 10!

That would be Now and Again. I loved that show. It was axed in the States half way through the first series and Channel 10 showed all available episodes.

Woohoo Awesome news. Loved this show when it started on 9.

And an extra wohooo, with me getting my weekly fix of the sexay Mischa Barton (the girl living next door to the main family).

May I just point out any lads out there who are quite skeptic about this great upcoming show that's worth killing off time.

The O.C. is a far distinct teen (and adult) drama-show from any other. It's NOTHING like Dawson's Crap or 90210. The main character in the show, Ryan Atwood; portrays a hard-arsed troubled 16-year-old living in the Bronx-like Chino in Cali. He was kicked out my his mother and her bf after he was caught stealing cars with his older brother. Fortunately he gets adopted by a rich man by the name of Sandy Cohen and gets to live a paradise in the wealthier community in Newport - where he makes new friends, new enemies, and new chicks.

I've downloaded and watched all of season one and found it to be a fantastic series. Series Two will start airing in the US after the baseball. For the lads with gf's; she'll probably make you watch every episode anyway ;)

So what did everyone else think of the first episode?

For those who watch Gilmore Girls and thought you saw a famliar face. Adam Brody (Seth) played Lane's musician boyfriend Dave.

can't wait to see the remain three repeat episodes and get into some new stuff

Watched it when it was on 9 but I missed the first few episodes, so starting from the start with channel 10. Not bad last night.

I watched it and thought it was pretty good.

That Marissa chick is hot.
Bloody Oath!

Useless Fact: The actress that played Marissa (Mischa Barton) was the "Puke girl" in The Sixth Sense, and also played the young girl actress in Notting Hill
