Yes, the cattle is that bad at the moment. The backline that played was the most inexperienced backline to ever start a game for the Wallabies.

You're not getting the point. Try and justify it however you like, it's a shit thing to do and deserves to be called out.
Of all the shit things that could happen to a professional sports person a caricature from a rival has to be one of the most petty things to sook about. Seriously. How soft is that.

The wallabies wouldn't want to have a friendly game of backyard cricket with our national side they'd lock themselves in a room for a month crying after the softest sledging they'd have in their lockers. Just seems like a very can give it but can't take it mentality when we give as good as anyone but then cry when the jokes on us. We've booed national anthems (Uruguay), drawn cartoons (McCaw), sledged about mental illness (Trott) and now go cry foul over a clown

Again, how would you feel if it was you posted on a national for all your family/friends/whoever to see? Just because they're in a public role, doesn't mean they should be expected to put up with this shit.

Because Cheika was responsible for all that. Your logic suggests it's fine for them to have a crack at him because Michael Clarke/Mitch Johnson made a poor decision.

Hey, maybe he should take the credit for the bogus drug accusations against Carter as well. I mean, there was some sledging in some lawn bowls between Aus and NZ so it's fair game.

It's a clown I'd laugh it off.

If it was something racial or sexist or actually offensive like being compared to a criminal I'd get it. But a ******* cartoon clown lol

It's not about Chieka the history stuff. Just questioning the Australian mentality if everyone is sticking up for him having a sook or are you in the minority?

Course you would. As I said yesterday, it's easy to judge sitting behind a computer.

I have no idea and personally, I don't care.

It's a cartoon clown for a highly paid sports coach lol

Maybe I'm thick skinned but if a newspaper in another country had a picture of me as a clown I don't think I'd sook in a press conference about it. I really don't see what the fuss is about at all. It was pretty well drawn, didn't make him any uglier than he is unlike the ones that Howard and Beazley used to cop all the time.

Perhaps the only offensive part I can see is the frills on the jersey. But even then they're our biggest rival I wouldn't expect them so treasure that

I'd like to think Jatz and Chieka are in the minority of Australians who think it is a big deal
I'm not that big on trying to bring others down, satire or no satire. It was wrong when it was McCaw and it's wrong now.

For the record, the artist has confirmed it was a satire piece that was designed to 'needle' him.

And? Cheika needs to be a big boy and stop having a cry. I've seen far worse published about sports personalities that they cop on the chin.

It only needles him if he looks at every newspaper article written about him or his team. How often do you hear sportspeople say you've gotta take no notice of what is said about you in the press?

Ahhh right. So if the guy has been bullied about his appearance all his life, he should just 'cop it on the chin'.

This goes back to my opinion of the media these days. It's an absolute cesspit. That's not media, it's just shit.

It's easy for him to ignore it. What about his mother? Sister? Children? How do you explain to a child that you're on the front of a newspaper dressed as a clown.

Anyway, I'll leave it there. I don't think there's any changing of minds that will happen here.

Well his family live over in Australia don't they? Pretty easy to ignore it. Would also probably tell them not to read the papers if I was at that level of coaching/playing.

Just like most afl players wouldn't like their families reading what gets said about them on here. Gotta be bigger and smarter at the top level. And it shows on the pitch that he is very 80s with his professionalism
