Ice hockey is a weird one, you can't even see the damn puck.And yet you lot love cricket and that's just as much stop/start.
I just love sports. American/European/Australian, it doesn't matter to me.
The only one I can't really get into is ice hockey.
I find most sports are great to play, but only a select few are fun to watch. It's like the Olympics, you wouldn't watch those sports if they were happening in your back garden, but once every four years we suddenly become rowing, cycling and Judo experts. I'm not a big fan of cricket (never played it) but I will get right into the ashes. I don't really care about cricket at any other time. I do like Rugby Union (the first sport I played outside school as a kid) and I will watch international rugby but it doesn't stack up to watching football. Football is the sport where you can appreciate the skill factor as much as much as the physicality/speed etc. It's on a different level to all other sports in terms of viewing
