Is anyone surprised he got less votes than Romney? He got about 8% of the black vote, 30% of the Hispanic vote. It's a miracle he got 60 million votes if you ask me when you consider how many white women would also have not voted for him after all that misogynist shit came out. Hilary must be detested by so many in the US for this to have happened

He actually got the majority of the white female vote, his female voter % as a whole was down slightly but that was primarily from minorities rather than white females.

The main changes were the drastic drop in democrat votes from non-college educated demographics, particularly in key states like Michigan that proved vital (ie: huge numbers in Detroit won that for Obama that Hillary didn't get). Likewise the non-college educated whites bought into Trump's empty promises and his numbers increased in that demographic while Hillary's dropped. All college educated demographics had an increase in % voting for Hillary and a decrease for Trump, while all non-college educated demographics increased for Trump and decreased for Hillary.

Obama inspired the working classes, Hillary didn't and that's where the election was lost for the democrats. Trump targeted the most impressionable and jaded demographics and it worked.

We saw it with Adam Goodes on a much much smaller scale here. People don't like being called things they're not. We rebelled against it by booing him harder. This US election was one giant donkey vote. Trump is a moron but appealed to the masses who got behind him and voted in numbers.

Hilary isn't the most likeable character and didn't inspire her support as much as Trump did. I read that Trump only won 5 out of 52 states for votes from eligible voters 30 years old or younger. Problem was this is the age group that had the lowest voter turnout.

I don't see Trump lasting more than one term. He'll piss too many people off. Obama would have won this election in a landslide if he was allowed to run for another term.

I think whoever won this would be a one term president.

No, they don't. But my point was more on the people who normally wouldn't bother voting. Be it because a candidate doesn't speak out to them, or they simply don't care. Being constantly called something you're not is grinding.

Hilary's slogan changed and it had not as much meaning and Hilary is very very unlikeable

This, her entire campaign message was "I am not Trump", which is not good enough for the Democrat base, particularly after what a lot of them tasted with Sanders in the primary

Also, Bernie hasn't ruled out running in 2020, he'd be 79, I love him but he might need a wheelchair

Yes 53% of the white female vote, was surprised by that, was expecting that to fall below 40%.

Your post got me interested so I've looked a little more closely at this. Apparently whites make up 69% of total voters (non-white 31%). Overall the white vote ended up at 58%-37% in favour of Trump. White men; 63%-31% for Trump, white women 53-43 for Trump. Non-College educated whites 67% for Trump. Some like to make a clear distinction between non educated and educated people. I find that to be slightly elitist but there you go. There are different types of intelligence besides an academic one you will find as you go through life. Still 54% of college educated whites also voted for Trump

Age does play a factor also. For 18-29 year old whites it is 48-43 for Trump, so a much closet disparity.

The biggest disparity though is along racial lines. In 2012 Obama got 90% of the non-white vote (95% of the black vote). Romney got 54% of the white vote that year but lost comfortably. Hilary got 88% of the black vote and 65% of the Latino vote, both down from Obama and that is probably what cost her the election.

They are playing great team ball and space the floor really well.

They've been going ok, they might squeeze into the playoffs out West. It would be better for them to suck though and add one more piece in next years draft around Randle, Russell and Ingram.

Couldnt believe they blew out the Warriors, but it's good to see that wasnt a one off, they got back to work and continued to stay in games and win games. Walton is a good coach.

They can't tank because phoenix have their first rounder. Don't think they will make the playoffs but they'll double last year's 17 win season. Love what Walton has done with the bench.
