Got into St Pancras at 830 this morning. -3 degrees. Pretty tough. Back in melbs on 23rd December. Looking forward to some heat.
I'm in Chiswick. District line near hammersmith. Got a nice 2 bedderBojan KantKick are you still based out in the sticks in London or did you guys end up in your own place?

Yeah, the area is really nice and there are lots of parks which is nice. Chiswick high Road is really good for pubs and restaurants too. Paying 1650 a month which is pretty painful though.Fantastic! Had quite a few mates based there. Did a good Xmas lunch and pub crawl through Chiswick

Assuming you mean south UK? It's where it's at tbh. No offence. But if you're under 40 there's no reason to reside north of Tottenham
THE SOUTH
I live in a nice 4 bed house in a nice suburb. Big back yard. I reckon I'd get about a grand a month for it if I rented it out.Assuming you mean south UK? It's where it's at tbh. No offence. But if you're under 40 there's no reason to reside north of Tottenham

Yeah the big back yard is the difference. But before 40 that doesn't tend to matter especially with the most happening city in the world outside of NY on your doorstepI live in a nice 4 bed house in a nice suburb. Big back yard. I reckon I'd get about a grand a month for it if I rented it out.
I like visiting London, but there is nothing in the world that London has to offer that would convince me to pay London housing prices.
And your football teams are all shite too.![]()
The defense has started giving up plays and Bradford is back to his ordinary best haha.
Out with the new and in with the old.

the old saying: out with the old, in with the nucleus."

And the Eagles? Wentz has dropped off a bitThe defense has started giving up plays and Bradford is back to his ordinary best haha.
Pains me to say it but the Cowboys look good things to get through from the NFC.
We've definitely fallen off. Wentz proving he is in fact a rookie. Our WR's couldn't catch a cold, our secondary is just about the worst in the NFL haha. It's a bad combination unfortunately. And the Eagles? Wentz has dropped off a bit
There's something going on literally every day there that would be considered a small-medium event in cities all over the world. Most happening city?
What happens there that doesnt happen anywhere else in the world.
Seems like PR bullshit to me.
It brings that out of you tbh. In Melbourne and Auckland I'd hate to do anything Mon-Thurs. In London you just can't not at least once a weekLondon is an amazing city if you are an extrovert.
Do you need a home phone? If not just get Naked DSL and not pay line rental at all. Internode/Iinet are pretty good ISPsSo after organising internet through Belong last Thursday and being told I would be contacted within 1 business day with info on when the internet would be installed, I finally called them today and was told that the closest port is "full" and they can't connect my service, and just hadn't gotten around to tell me yet.
Is that legit? How can it be full?
I was told that I should "simply" sign up with one of their competitors. When I pointed out that that would incur the line rental fees as their competitors are not Telstra, I was met with "Oh. Yeah. True."
Wtf.
