You're disagreeing with me! I never said taste wasn't subjective, but I said people still could have what could uniformly be perceived as good or bad taste. That's when you came in and disagreed

Yes and I still do. I'm not sure how you can in the same breath agree that it's common sense that everyone has different perspectives of what's good and bad, and think that there can be a uniform notion of good/bad taste. Anyway it's all going in circles now.

Well that's where we disagree isn't it. If I think someone has good or bad taste then I am still free to say it. I'm not going to forsake my own opinion

Of course. Again, I've never disagreed with that. Everyone has their own opinion on taste. It's a subjective thing. If you think something isn't good, you aren't wrong.

There is a consensus that the Beatles are a better band than one direction. Not everyone will think so, but if you stood up in a room full of half-educated people and argued for 1D, it won't end well.

They sell out all their shows? The music landscape has changed thanks to the Internet but every concert I've been to in the bands mentioned above, always sell out.

They get critically raved about too. It's ok if you haven't listened to them or you don't like them but that doesn't mean they aren't considered great bands/artists.

Time always makes people look back fondly on anything as you remember the great times. Perhaps you had amazing sex to Led Zeppelin and that's why no one holds a candle to them - and that's fine, but to say that there isnt great music is ridiculous.

Arctic monkeys would be the biggest band of the most recent decade or so. As would KOL.

It was very different times but it was still a great time to be a blue. SP did test quite a few of us though, and in the season we scored 10 goals at home, I missed two games and we scored 6 of them, ha ha.

Beanie was one of the more talented in the squad back then.
