Decent year on a personal level.

This was my third year living up in Brisbane and rotated off my graduate program about a month ago. No change in role just in title moving forward.

Feel a lot more settled up here now. Although Melbourne will always be home. First full year being single. Travelled overseas for 5 weeks mostly by myself which was a highlight.

Health wise just persistent patella tendinitis which is plaguing my football st the moment. Need to sort that out.

Some of my friendships in Melbourne feel like they aren't what they used to be but that's natural I guess.

Looking forward to 2017

Yeah I'm alright. It's an annoying one, it'll always be there through life but it comes and goes if that makes sense. I find I'm better when life is busy so even though it's great having a month off, I get lost in my head a bit ha. Just a matter of picking up some of the signs when things start to get bad.
Hope you get well soon Jatz.

Just a little note of caution though, about keeping yourself busy. From experience, and seeing it with others, sometimes distracting yourself in the hectic pace of life can be a bit of a bandaid solution. Whether it be work, hobbies, sport or whatever, it can possibly be a dangerous tactic.

Sometimes, it's not such a bad thing to slow down and let your thoughts catch up with you. That way, something can be done in addressing them. Sorry if I'm way off the mark, have been debating whether to say something or not from when I read this comment a few hours ago.

But having seen a few close friends try and ignore/distract themselves from their demons inside, it has led to disastrous consequences. I'm a bit more aware now of the warning signs. Not suggesting for a moment that you are suppressing anything etc, just wanted to add that maybe things start to 'get bad' when they aren't being addressed. That's all.

Good luck.
