Well some of them I know and they exceed 5/10. You've got to remember though that I am well versed in rock music from the last 50 years, and therefore not as easily impressed as some on here perhaps are.

Jim's song didn't leave any sort of impression - but fair play to him for putting it out there

With respect that's a bit condescending. I was raised on The Beatles, and have also grown up listening to Guns 'N' Roses, Queen, MJ, The Who, Rolling Stones, etc. so it's a bit unfair to imply the rest of us have no clue about classic rock.

Fair play indeed to him, some others have also put songs out there that you've ignored.
