I can't go through them all - I have to be in the mood. I know most music from the early 2000's - I was still in my 20's after all. The undeniable truth is music went rapidly down hill but there was the odd good thing amongst all the shit. I even mentioned yesterday that I was into the Kings of Leon when they first came out.

Anyway this is great tune from the mid 2000's, albeit from one of the quintessential 90's bands

Sam's Town is better than Hot Fuss IMO.

Third album isn't great, last one is OK, but their first two albums are fantastic.

Hmm, that's actually not too bad. I would probably like it more if I were 20 years younger. The singer sounds like someone but I can't think who. The problem with it like so much post mellinial music is there is no real hook, and it compensates for it with that big over-produced sound. Bear in mind I'm not familiar with this band so first time listening but I'll give it a 6/10

Don't want to be disrespectful to you but no, not for me. I hate those weedy American vocals. He's trying to sound like Jeff Buckley but failing. I couldn't get to the half way point so I have to give it a 2/10. I accept it may be one of those songs that is a grower though, but for me I can't get past those vocals

Killers definitely went downhill but When You Were Young is an absolute ripper of a tune, that I can forgive them.
