Account exec role opening up at my work. Gonna go for it. I interview very well which is always a great thing to have on your side.

I don't expect to get it, but I would like to.

I've put myself forward to take on the vacant International Sales Manager role along with my current role.. Think my manager & the CFO are skepitcal about my workload but most the other stakeholders think it's a great idea.

"Coffee" at 4pm today to discuss it. Got a feeling they'll try and shaft me and just offer it as a caretaker arrangement before handing on to a new person whilst being their support person.

Jatz are you still watching suits? is the new season decent or are they still bringing back old characters and rehashing old storylines?

This season has seen a significant decrease in quality compared to the earlier seasons imo. I think they've run out of ideas and it's become too formulaic and predictable. It also involves what might be the worst, most boring B-story involving Donna that I've ever seen in any TV show.

There's a fine line between racist, nationalist and patriotism though. Don't help when people are the latter but get called the former (especially racist).

Depends how you go about your patriotism though and what values you see as being intrinsic to your nation.

I'm not sure about the UK, but patriotism in Australia isn't having a southern cross tattoo and donning singlets adorned with slogans like 'If you don't like it, then leave.'

When being asked to name the values that are inherent to Australia, I suspect that most people would list things like 'mateship' and 'a fair go.' But that often gets distorted in the wash and doesn't apply to people who have different coloured skin or worships a different god.

You absolutely can be patriotic, but particularly nationalist, but still xenophobic. The problem comes when xenophobia and racism are described as nationalism or misrepresented as being patriotic.

Ridiculously good. Yes I'm a comic book nerd but it still takes a lot to meet my high demands. This was ****ing glorious.

It was next level shit. Jackman and Sir Patrick Stewart (one of my favourite actors) were incredible. F words left right and centre. Very gory and grahpic action. Everything was next level.

Only once before have I punched the air in a cinema, it was the Joker/Batman interrogation scene from The Dark Knight. When Bats lost his shit, so did I.

But there's a scene where Wolverine went ****ing crazy (you'll know it when you see it trust me), that had me in a frenzy. ****ing wow.
