I would highly recommend anyone use ExtraTorrent.CC

I easily found that new Ryan Adams album (Prisoner, right?) on there and the songs open up in whatever format you want.

Ha, that's what I was looking for :P

In keeping with sites for downloads. There's an AFL section (as well as Baseball, Basketball, Football etc) on www.sport-video.org.ua

Not sure if all AFL games will show it on there weekly but it's a great site for sporting downloads.

Just sold something on eBay and payment was made via paypal, the money says it's "on hold" and there is a message that says

The funds you receive from eBay sales may not be available for up to 21 days. This could be because you are still yet to meet eBay's selling and PayPal's risk standards. If the buyer reports an issue, the funds may be held for longer. However, in some cases your funds can be available sooner.

Is it as simple as marking it as shipped on eBay?

I don't suppose you could clarify a bit more on that?

If it's in regards to the money, I find that when I started out, it usually took about 2-3 days to register into the account. It's usually the case after every sale, but it usually comes much sooner than what they say.

Did you get your money from the sale? If you did, you can probably mark it as payment received or item sent. Not sure what that message is about if you've received your money.

Paypal sometimes hold up payments on ebay for various reasons (IE new seller with less than 25 transactions), so as it says you can wait 21 days before it's released, but another way you can do it is if what you're sending is through parcel and trackable, you can contact ebay 3 days after it's been delivered and ask for them to release the funds then. Otherwise yeah you'd have to wait

Yeah in PP right now it says the funds are "on hold". So I'm not sure. I've marked it as sent, will mail it out tomorrow.

Ok, thanks mate. Will look to get it posted tomorrow.

$375 for an iPhone 6, with box, cord, charger. Winning!

That's the ticket, just mark it and you should be fine.

And nice job on the sale! (Gosh darn fees...)

Ah, I meant the selling fee... which think is... $22.75 from that sale.

A little disappointing to lose $20 on the sale, but you still did pretty well!

I sold a Wii-U last month for $280, the buyer didn't pay and I had to do the unpaid dispute thing to get the fees back. I was shocked when they were $26, plus whatever PayPal fees are.

I am not sure if the eBay fee calculator is even accurate tbh.

Crum Jimminey, Paypal fees on top of that. Yeah, that's why I usually wait for the monthly invoice as well.

And wow, that sucks to have come upon such a crumbum to not pay up. Feel sorry for you.

That does remind me, since the Switch isn't backward compatable, I'll need to get a Wii U and catch on the games I've missed.

It was more a waste of time tbh. If a buyer doesn't pay or tells you they've had a change of heart about the sale (I've had one of those), you need to wait 4 days for the Unpaid Payment Dispute option to become available and then another 4 days for it to expire so you can get your fees back and then re-list the item. 8 days lost and potential customers moving on. I'll say some people are crumbums. :p

Coming home from a drink in the city on Friday night I ran into the set of the new Mary Poppins film. Filming some scene in an authentic London street. Loads of extras dressed up in old fashioned get-up. Might watch that when it comes out.

I thought I'd share that with my Aussie chums

Whereabouts in London they shooting it?

I really do miss the old school look and feel of London streets. And then I put my shorts on in March and realise the perks here are just different

They were shooting in the square mile - it was around Leadenhall Street.

Another bit of WR film triv.

This shot below used in the film Skyfall, was taken on the roof of the building I used to work in at Whitehall. This shot was taken in 2011 I believe, and bizarrely they took it on a weekday during working hours. campaigners even had the canteen to themselves as they didn't want to be disturbed. Only Daniel Craig was at the shoot. The back of the same building also appeared in a Harry Potter film and virtually every day tourists came to see it on when of these HP tours.
