Oh right so it's all my fault. Ok fair enoughNot necessarily that one, just the body of work.
You need a liquid lunch SMIt's the middle of the afternoon for us. The rest of us haven't drunk as much as you.

I freely admit I'm a bit bored tonight and I fancied some stimulating conversation as I can't get any at home. Surely that's not a crime. I don't understand you SM to be perfectly honest. Now you are bringing the God post into it. How do you expect discussion forums to actually work?It is... You literally came online today and asked for people to argue with you. You've moved through a host of topics desperately looking for something controversial to argue about. You even had to bring up the trump card in God to try and get something going.
Alright mate, I'm not going to argue about it. I'll take the blame again for itNot trying to be an arseh*le or anything but It is clear that whether you agree or not, rightly or wrongly that some aren't happy so maybe just tone it down a notch.

Still better than thinking youre watching Mondays game only to finally realise at the 94th minute you're watching a 5 year old replay.Oh and btw jd2010 I did (inadvertently) wake up early for our game... just didn't realise I woke up 24 hours early![]()

HAHAHAHAHAHA.Still better than thinking youre watching Mondays game only to finally realise at the 94th minute you're watching a 5 year old replay.

I've not tried to start an argument with you. I tried to start some conversation like people generally do on boards, and you kept coming in saying "stop being aggressive". Just went back to page 31 to check. Nothing there was out of order. I took up the topic of TV passionately, but by no means aggressively. You're bored? Ok, throw on a TV show. You don't understand me? Mate. You have tried to start half a dozen conversations, and when anyone has tried to engage you with logical, rational responses, you've ignored them and moved on to the next topic that tickles your fancy. You asked me about West Wing, but you have entirely ignored my response despite me calling you out on it three times - even getting hurt and offended that I'd apparently thrown a barb at you. Understand that the way you operate is greatly annoying a lot of people, and maybe seek other forms of late night entertainment.

Of course I picked that up - hence why I ignored it. But you kept on comingYou clearly didn't pick up on the fact that my 'stop being aggressive' lines were aping your illogical comments to me along the same lines the other day during the music conversation.
I'm UGLY too.Speaking of... why are you and Quivorir so UGLY? Did FAITH starting rating members on their... ahem, good faith? (I see he's got a good looking badge too.)
For a charity match on the SFA (fantasy footy) board, you should come check it out and join the Wolves.Speaking of... why are you and Quivorir so UGLY? Did FAITH starting rating members on their... ahem, good faith? (I see he's got a good looking badge too.)

That's a great response. That's all I was after - an impassioned reply that put me in my place without getting nasty or personal.I think WealstoneRaider you just have to realise that everyone has different opinions. You don't have to like television though you do have to accept that many others do. People consider it an art form and it is - many people create shows for themselves or because they like to create stories. It's no different from when stories were narrated on radio, reading or even listening to a story around a campfire - it's just all been able to be told in an arguably better way thanks to technology.
The golden age of television has been around the last decade or so and television has now taken up the mantle of being on the same rung as film now. Many directors and actors are willing to try making great TV now as it allows stories to be fleshed out and create stronger character development than a film could.
It's cool to not enjoy tv but you shouldn't mock others for enjoying it as a past time. People will watch it mostly at night after they've eaten dinner and watch a few episodes before bed. It doesn't mean they don't find other things to do if they are available but everyone enjoys their free time in different ways.
