I remember when I switched from FoxSports SD to HD.
Now that was an eye opener.

I download GoT as a 2 GB file or a 600 MB file and I can't notice any difference. And that's a pretty visually spectacular show. Maybe it's something to do with how my TV reads the files or something.

Same for me too.

Our eyes are considerate of storage space.

That was 2 ears ago and they were fetching 1400 quid. Assume one in mint condition is worth more now with all the original packaging. The original 2G Iphone was only produced in limited numbers and is supposedly a "collectors" item these days. Incredible.

Bizarre that used ones can still fetch such a high price. I can see why unopened ones do, there's always a market for that sort of stuff.

I was lucky enough to be given 3 of them in China when they first came out, a 'gift'. 3 was excessive (who needs 3??) so I gave the other two away to some friends. Should've hung onto one of them haha.

2-game ban for my red. They actually film all the games so they reviewed the video, and found that I was right in my comments that the ref failed to control the game which led to things getting out of hand, and I was right in my comments about the way the opposition was playing the game. Unfortunately the video was also pretty conclusive on the incident I got sent off for.

Bloke was hanging onto me for a chunk of the second half, sledging me non-stop, grabbing me whenever I went for the ball, stamping my foot whenever he could get away with it, elbows didn't get him away so just before the end I went a bit Barry Hall on him, grabbed his shirt for some jumper punches before taking a swipe. If I'd connected more solidly it'd probably have been my season over. Dunno how he got to me so much, I was keeper in the first half so didn't even interact with him much apart from some sledging about my shit keeping.

Wow. How did the ref not see him winding you up. Indoor yeah? The refs can be absolutely awful or not paying attention because they are bored sometimes.

Yep, he was incredibly average. They were essentially rugby tackling our players and he was calling them fair challenges. Bloke I just got off the phone with was pretty diplomatic when he said "Yeah we reviewed the tape and the ref was pretty poor with his handling of the game." !! I fully deserved the red, but when the ref's reasoning was 'You shouldn't react to their goading' it's kind of like, mate if you're going to let them get away with murder how do you expect us to react.

Especially when they beat us 10-3, it's hardly conducive to a clean game.

The smirk as he pulled the red out when he said "It's your fault for letting it get to you" was what really did it for me.

Not to mention the soft as **** yellow I got in the first half when I was keeper and I got done when they smashed a shot into my hand - which was by my side - when I'd come out of the box to try and intercept a ball. If you're going to give that as a yellow in indoor you'd have keepers sent off most weeks.

Weird bit is he refs every week and every other game has been entirely fair and on top of things.

Yeah what I meant was the quality might be just as good as HD, sounds like you have a really shitty download. Most 'low quality' downloads I find seem to transmit in just as good quality for whatever reason.

Me and the missus were looking for a new show to watch last night. Mentioned I really want to watch The Sopranos and I have it downloaded, but only in SD. She then came up with the idea she could buy the Blu Ray for me for Xmas.

The more I think about this, the more I want to watch it now. I know everybody thinks it's great and it's considered one of the GOAT, genuinely excited lol. $120 for the Blu Ray on eBay for all 6 seasons.

Thankfully Sportsbet as they termed it "Justice" refunded all bets on him. Nice to see they're doing the right thing when he acts like a campaigner.
