People have paid good money to watch him play. The least he could do is try. That has to be the bare minimum.

The dialogue is just too cheesy for me to be too excited for the movie.

Visually looks amazing but my god some of the lines in that trailer...

The main character sounds annoying - a now all too familiar, boring cliche of a "strong" female Hollywood lead. Just has the effect of making you root for the Empire. It wasn't like that in the original trilogy!

How in any way do these trailers make you root for the Empire lol, there's an entire ensemble cast. Donnie Yen is absolutely bad ass, I'm rooting for him!

There's a book coming out which I might try and grab but I seriously doubt there'll be any need for context before seeing it. They'll introduce everyone properly in the movie.

Yes I thought so too. A bit too much Disney fluff. Hopefully it's not overboard in the actual movie.

I thought Fin was pretty memorable, Poe not as much because he's only in maybe 15 minutes of screen time, and hell Rey was huge!

Think back to the original trilogy, did you think any differently of Leia?
