That twitter feed I posted cited multiple cases of racial abuse against Asian-Americans, can't see that happening in Melbourne as we are a far more accepting population and the minority of people who are putting up those posters would be too cowardly to actually share their views in person, let alone commit the kind of hate crimes we are seeing in the US.

That's probably because you've got one of the toughest immigration policies in the west. You haven't had the problems that Europe and the US face

Well I'm taking a more extreme stance because who I'm dealing with here. They can't see the overall picture, so you have to show them it.

I wouldn't want a mono-culture for the record. But I understand the fears people have. The best scenario for me is for immigrants to embrace the culture they come to, but add to it with their own customs. That's something that can happen when immigration is managed, but you must know that uncontrolled numbers do not allow for that

And they were empty promises, read that link I posted in one of my replies to you (I'm 99% sure you just ignored it as you always do). His immigration policies are unconstitutional and will never actually be introduced. The brain dead right-wing hicks believed him and will be as disappointed as the UK "leave" voters who based their decision on having 300 million quid extra for the NHS when he can't actually do what he said he would.
