Well my missus just got a casual gig getting $330 a day!! So dinners are on her now. :D

But yeah should be able to put a decent amount away in savings.
WOW! Doing what?

My missus received a 27k payrise, still waiting for it be lodged in the system, but that makes life a lot easier!

Totally forgot to try and get Joseph Parker tickets which went on sale Thursday. Obviously sold out the reasonable priced tickets already

Between myself and my wife we make 120k a year with her working 2 days a week (works a Saturday because she gets $61 / hour being a Div 1 Nursing manager).

There's no savIngs at all, just paying a bit extra on the mortgage / investment property here and there. Gets sucked up pretty quickly by kids / living expenses lol. Can't wait until both kids are in primary school because I can get the missus to work full time :)

You're an accountant aren't you? Or some sort of finance role?

Also anyone in here have legal expertise? I am in a headspin today as I received notification yesterday that I have an inheritance waiting for myself and my brother in France (my Auntie passed away 1 year ago and she had no family / next of kin). I've been contacted by a genealogical probate company which I first thought was a scam but turns out to be legit. As my father is also not with us anymore myself and my brother are the heirs and it looks like we've gotta go over there and sort it out. Have no idea / experience with the French legal system but do have friends of family over there that can translate and help us out. It totally came out of the blue.

Talk to a property lawyer.

Surely a tidy sum nevertheless. Maybe can pay off your mortgage?

Honestly have no idea but it must be substantial if a large legal firm is getting involved and their payment comes from the after inheritance tax settlement.

If I had to guess I would say my paternal grand parents passed on property to my Auntie in their estate (they died 28 and 26 years ago).
