I got that he was implying my girlfriend was a whore, he said there were multiple jokes though. I also thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt that he had a touch of class.
Come on SM, play the ball, not the man ;)

At one stage during my childhood, my mum said she couldn't afford to get my brothers and I presents. I was working at the time so I made sure I got a few for each member in the family (2 bros and parents). Giving makes me feel good. You can find plenty of things that aren't expensive and can brighten up someone's day.

I get far more enjoyment out of giving than I do receiving.

As the Donald would say, it's just locker room bantz.

Love Paris. Spent a day with the kids at Jardin des Tuileries on a trip last year. Was almost the perfect day. Been trying to convince the mrs to go for a job there for a year now. She works for a French company and I'm happy to tag along and be a kept man.

I hear you quite enjoy Euro Disney :) :)

When I grew up we never celebrated Christmas or have presents, good ol' asians. Never birthday presents either. We're the ultimate savers

I do love Christmas though, my favourite time of the year

Is that even real? That's 27 Earthquakes in the last hour.
Yep it is.

Got relatives quite close to Christchurch, hope they're okay. But even some family in the North Island have been feeling them.

Was New Zealand ever an earthquake hot zone or has the tectonic plates shifted in such a fashion that they now are? If so then wonder if Australia would ever become an earthquake zone
Arent we smack bang in the middle of a tectonic plate so very unlikely to ever experience earthquakes??

None of those are huge though are they. A bad Earthquake are like 8 and 9's right? They are all 4 and 5's.
Really bad ones are 8 to 9, but a 6 at the wrong time can cause serious issues. The 2011 Christchurch quake was a 6.4 compared to the 7.1 of the 2010 quake, but due to both location (2011 was about 15 km's closer I think) and time (2011 was in the middle of the day, with 2010 early morning) it was so much worse. Should be said that landslides happened in 2011 though

I looked it up...

I was right. NZ however are right on top of one.

Depends on the depth. Shallow magnitude 6 could be worse than a deep magnitude 8, damage wise.

But high 6's will do serious damage. I experienced I think a 5.9 when I was there once, the entire house was swaying. Freaky stuff.

Yikes...

Hopefully everyone is alright in NZ.
