I love the Beatles, I have nearly all their albums. Just saying they didn't really change anything - not important anyway. If you have to name an Airport after a person, save it for a great politician, or someone of a similar standing who did great things for the people of the world.

John Lennon wrote some of the best music of the 20th century. But he also beat up his first wife, so that's something else to bear in mind. But this is scousers we are talking about. If they ever have to build another one they'll probably name it Suarez International

I thought of another band with a great debut album and average subsequent albums: The Fratellis. Costello Music is so great, but nothing they did after comes close.

Frankly, everything since Costello Music has been shit which is a shame because there were some ripping tunes on that album. Chelsea Dagger, Henrietta and Flathead .
