Nope. Gotta call em to tell em I'm not paying for shit. Ive wasted 3 days on these bastards they can do the "Non standard" (read: too hard) install for free.

8 days now I've been ****ed around by Internode where they've told me directly contradictory things. I've got a free month of internet out of it, but it's not being installed until the 23rd which is ****ing annoying.

Was told last Thursday no issues with installation. Called on Tuesday to double check, guy says "Yep no problem, scheduled for the 15th but can make it the 14th at earliest. You don't have to be in the apartment so all good" I say "Sweet sounds good, 14th would be perfect."

Get a text that night to confirm installation on the 15th and that in fact I will have to be in the apartment, which I can't.

Call back the next day, say I can't be home on the 15th and I had been told I didn't have to be home and it could be done on the 14th. Get told that they have no clue why the guy told me that and I definitely have to be home and it can't be the 14th.

I then re-schedule, and he says the earliest is the 23rd. I agree hesitantly, stressing I'd rather it be earlier than that if possible.

I call back the following day after my Mum says she can come over on the 15th to be there while they install. Get told that the earliest now is the 16th not the 15th, I say that the 16th doesn't suit and I was told the 15th would still be fine. They say that they could organise it for the 19th though. I'm surprised as I'd been told unequivocally that the 23rd was the next earliest. I request the 19th. I ask if that has now been locked in, definitely happening on the 19th. The guy - who is a manager because I'd raged at his underling - assures me it's now locked in.

Get a call today to say my application - apparently it was just an application for the 19th - was rejected because they can't move appointments earlier, only later (wtf?). But I also get told that there's already a line to my apartment so I don't have to be home for it. I ask if I can just set up a brand new appointment on the 19th without me needing to be there as the guy can see there's still a spot free on the 19th. He calls the sales team, tells me they can't lock it in, they can only do their best and no guarantee, and that otherwise it'd likely be the 23rd. So I raged again at the inconsistencies I've been getting from all of them and the flat out contradictions from their staff. Got a free month of net but not much of a help when we still have to wait until the 23rd.

Just spent $200 notarising a power of attorney & identity documents to send overseas for my Auntie's estate. Took all of about 15 minutes. Think I want to become a notary!!!!

Coldplay are fantastic live. Get a bad wrap but I find I enjoy them quite a bit. Some of their more recent stuff isn't as strong as older efforts but still great.
