Cruyffy sounds like a sensible "planner" rather than one who just takes each day as it comes.

Di you draw up a list Cruyffy at the start of each year on the things you want to accomplish?

So true the first bit lol.

Nothing wrong with doing the second bit. Going to give it a go myself this year

2016 wasn't too bad. Started work, did pretty well at it, progressing nicely along my career plan. Moved out with the GF, starting to settle into our place together - though haven't gotten up to much sorry Cruyff. Hull promoted (even though that was pretty bittersweet), interviewed Rich Garcia for the Hull podcast which was a huge pinch myself moment, and my Grandfather turned 90 which was pretty amazing. Can't think of too many lowlights.

Yeah I'm more a "take each day as it comes" person but you have to be careful not to drift. Probably not a bad idea to set a few goals each year otherwise your years will just roll into one!

I'm proud to say I've never drawn up an itinerary for a holiday though!

It's funny how we all look at things differently. I didn't even think to consider mentioning my sporting teams in terms of how my year rates. If Hawthorn won, it would not have changed anything for me, if Arsenal won, I am still not sure I would rank it as a personal highlight of my year.

I can honestly say my life(uncontrollably) l revolves around my two sport loves. I'm surprised TBH that with the amount of time you spend on a sports forum you don't feel the same:D

You alright mate?
Yeah I'm alright. It's an annoying one, it'll always be there through life but it comes and goes if that makes sense. I find I'm better when life is busy so even though it's great having a month off, I get lost in my head a bit ha. Just a matter of picking up some of the signs when things start to get bad.

How did people find 2016 personally? Had a good year myself. Bought a place, celebrated my second anniversary with the missus, saved an absolute shitload to put to our place, while also purchasing a lot for it. Bruce announced a tour, and I got tickets to the four shows I wanted, and I had a great festive period. Pretty solid year.

I love looking at things to do and loosely planning places to see/eat in the lead up to holidays. Find it helps falling into either commercial tourist traps or going somewhere crap that's convenient. But generally don't like having plans at all on holidays

My dog died recently to, takes time to heal.

Same here. Was awful.
Had to logout of FB for a few weeks as my feed had become full of pages with that breed of dog. Just took a while to get over.

I like to be organised. I'm great with money and stick to my budget 9 times out of 10. If I want something, won't buy it unless I can afford it that week.

No list as such, but missus and I have said we both want to lose weight and start being healthier. Want to smash as much of our mortage of as we can once we're in. So while we have no goals written down, we do have them and will try and stick to them.

I don't know if I have much of a 'career plan'. I am thinking of changing jobs this year, but I don't really have a field I want to progress in and something to aim for. Not unhappy where I am currently, but I'm not sure if I'd stick around for 10 years or something.

My grandparents turned 91, so I guess that's another good thing too.

Ironically, I joined Big Footy for the soccer side, but I post a lot on the GD board too. Spend most time in this part of the forum, because I love talking football etc.

I think if the EPL was on at more reasonable times, and I didn't need sleep so much to function, it'd probably be different. I do love my club, and I do get annoyed when they lose etc, but for me, there are bigger, and more important things in life (not a dig at you).

shag her and see what happens.
Shag, yep, you're definitely a Pom.

I thought plough, destroy or pound were too strong.
