I like it better when the best players go through. A Murray/Fed QF would have been great.

Although one last Federer v Nadal GS final is a very real possibility now which would be amazing. Having something like Raonic v Nishikori as the final would be so dull.
Dull is a strange word for it. I think a final with the next generation would be fantastic, they're playing some brilliant tennis.

Dull perhaps if this was a one off but really think the stranglehold of the slams will end in 2017 or 2018. Would be great to see 5-6 different winners over the next couple of years

Well Raonic is probably the most boring player to watch in the top 20.

I'm just thinking of the Nishikori/Cilic US open final from a few years ago which definitely was dull. I know we're slowly moving towards that next generation but I just like seeing the greats take each other on while they've still got it.

The fact they're losing suggests perhaps they don't have it. Nadal is limping through this tournament, and djokovic didn't seem to be switched on either. Raonic is cruising, thiem is a brilliant player to watch, zverev (the younger) will be a fantastic player, so there's a few pretty exciting prospects.

Yeah I know. Dimitrov is another that I like watching, and although it's not popular to say I'm a fan of Kyrgios as well. I know there are some exciting players coming through but any time we miss out on seeing two of the 'big 4' go head to head it's a little disappointing especially as Nadal and Federer in particular are close to the end. But that's just me personally.

That's why it'd be amazing if they both made the final. What a brilliant way to potentially end one of the greatest rivalries in sports history.

I completely accept where you're coming from and I do have a degree of that, but it might almost damage the perception of them if they played and it was underwhelming. I do want to try and see fed before he retires, never seen him live.

Kyrgios is great to watch when he isn't a ****ing idiot.

Monfils has the most flair on the circuit.

Unpopular opinion but I can't stand Federer, never liked him.
I was just about to type he's the most likable superstar in sport. I still think this, and find it completely strange how you could dislike him. Talent like no one else, graceful, a bit cheeky.

I didn't like him once upon a time because he used to win everything and wrongly thought he was arrogant because he never showed much emotion on court. But now i love the guy. Great personality.
