Wow, it's not like we don't have beaches or nothing in Victoria. ha ha
Have a holiday house on the great ocean road. Serenity.

Whilst true, we all know the beaches in Victoria are poor compared to the beaches in WA. :D

Ahh let's not hate. Australia in general is kick ass.

Damn it i didn't manage to fully read that shitfight.

But tennis, I was going to say Rafa will win easily on form but the buildup to the match and the expectations means anything could happen really. Federer also had the extra day of rest so there's that. My head says Rafa will win in 4 sets.

Here are some stats for your ass

Rafa and Roger have met 11 times in Slams with Nadal holding a 9-2 edge, including 3-0 at the Australian Open. Their last meeting in a Slam final was the 2011 French Open where Nadal emerged victorious in four sets.

Federer, 35, is the oldest man to reach a Grand Slam singles final since Ken Roswell at the US Open in 1974 at 39. Nadal, 30, is in his first Slam final since the 2014 French Open. Both were longshots to get here with Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray the heavy favorites. Nadal was 12-1 to win the tournament at the start with Federer at 16-1 with oddsmakers. Nadal is a slight favorite Sunday.

2: Olympic gold medals won by Nadal with one in singles in 2008 and another in doubles last year at Rio. Federer won gold in doubles in 2008 and silver in singles in 2012.

4: Federer’s rank among the highest-paid athletes last year with total earnings of $67.8 million. Nadal ranked No. 21 at $37.5 million.

9: Nadal’s record number of French Open titles.

10: Straight years Federer has been the highest-paid tennis player in the world. including prize money and endorsements. Andre Agassi was the last player to out-earn Fed.

14: Grand Slam titles won by Nadal, including at least one in a men’s record 10 straight years.

17: Record number of Grand Slam singles titles won by Federer, but his last was in 2012.

17: Federer’s current world ranking after missing six months to recover from a knee injury. It is his first time outside the top 10 in 14 years. Nadal is No. 9 in the world.

23-11: Nadal’s career record against Federer.

69: Career titles for Nadal, 6th most in the Open era.

88: Career titles for Federer, 3rd in the Open era.

160: Nadal was ranked No. 2 in the world behind Federer for a record 160 straight weeks from July 2005 until August 2008 when Nadal overtook Fed for the top spot.

302: Federer’s record number of week ranked No. 1 in the world, including 237 straight weeks. He most recently was first in Nov. 2012. Nadal has been on top of the ATP rankings 141 weeks, seventh most all-time. His last time at No. 1 was July 2014.

1998: Year Federer turned pro. Nadal followed three years later.

$1.4 million: Prize money for the loser of Sunday’s match.

$2.8 million: Prize money for the winner of Sunday’s match.

$60 million: Income from endorsements and appearance fees for Federer for the 12 months ending in June 2016. It is the highest total for any athlete in the world.

$78.7 million: Career prize money for Nadal heading into the US Open.

$98.8 million: Career prize money for Federer. He’ll be the second tennis player after Djokovic to cross the $100 million mark after he receives his Aussie Open check.

Thread cleaned of all the personal/baiting bullshit. Warning given to the apparent instigator for over stepping the mark once again.

If you want to insult posters personally I'll just thread ban you.

I have a feeling I know who the warning went to but not exactly the one who overstepped the mark the most. Only one poster snapped last night.

No. He brings it on himself and gets what he deserves in that regard, have no issue with him being punished for his manner of speaking to people.

Alas, if we're being objective one person snapped last night. Sets a shit precedent if that's waved through under the premise of not being the instigator.
