jod23 SM (or any other Beatles fan), have you seen the Eight Days a Week documentary as yet? From last year I believe. Covers their touring years from 1962 - 66. Was fascinating, still learning so much about them despite being a fan for so long.

Very worthwhile viewing if you haven't seen it yet.
Saw it at the cinema when it came out. Fantastic viewing. Lots of unseen footage when I thought I had seen it all.

Probably have a couple from me, was checking in on you. Welcome back.

Impressive! Decent camera it must be. You were so close in one of them that I thought or a moment that you'd rushed the stage, and half expected to the rest of your photos turn out like this....

Just an iPhone 6. Nothing fancy.

Haha!

Yes agreed. So much I didn't know either.

I've read extensively about the more popular than Jesus fallout, but seeing some actual footage from 1966 was intense. Can totally see why they'd had enough of touring by that stage, especially after the New York concert.

Beatlemania was pretty scary. Nobody had really ever seen anything like that before. It was insane.

Pretty sure they moved the national anthem to before the fight in order to prevent controversy from Mundine not standing up to it. Not that I've followed it closely, but from what I understand it was a deliberate move so he wouldn't be placed in that position.

Hardly see how that 'rekt' him.
