We used to do a bit of confined spaces at work. Quick bash on the breathing apparatus the morning after used to be a fairly regular thing.

I don't really get hangovers any more. A night on the scotch I generally bounce out of bed feeling great.

the quality of scotch makes a big difference imo.

I'm alright after a night on the good stuff.

scotch and cokes in the city is a different matter entirely haha

Na it really is incredible. I liked the fact that it didn't rely on action, fantasy etc. it was just a brilliant character study about a man losing his grasp on the control he had in his life and society in an ever changing world.
Completely agree. It's the slowest of burns but what a fantastic character study. It's also probably the best written show pretty much ever. The dialogue is crazy good.

Alien is still a fantastic watch. If you notice, it doesn't have a blaring soundtrack that most directors employ these days. I think younger people are conditioned to require that now - it's basically a cover

Depends on the movie I think. Star Wars had a pretty blaring soundtrack back in the 70s.

Finally someone else knows the pain. I'm 26 and my hangovers can last till Wednesday, sometimes even Thursday when I give it a decent nudge. I don't know if it's normal though lol. It really wouldn't surprise me if it was minor alcohol poisoning or a symptom of withdrawal.
It just ruins the entire week.

I'm not sure if it's because my bodies become accustomed to drinking so then I naturally drink more which results in a worse hangover or just simply because of age. I've just turned 25 and I'm not sure if I drink the same amount now on a big night compared to what I used to. I can have a decent night, but not massive, and be ok the next day if I pack it in pretty early, but the big nights where I'll go out and get home in the morning generally tend to see me still feeling terrible into the second half of the week.
wait til you pricks turn 28! you wont know what hit you

I don't drink too much too often anymore, but when I do, I generally just feel tired the day after. Head is generally OK for the most part.

Had an engagement the other week where I definitely took advantage of free booze, but woke up fine the day after.

I stopped drinking alcohol about 2-3 years ago now. The hangovers just became way too much.

I dont miss it.
i'm not a fan of hangovers but i've never actually had them that bad that it'd stop me drinking

well i might say i'm never drinking again the day after but that generally passes within 12-24 hours

My hangover would sometimes go 2-3 days. So I just quit.

Alien and Aliens are sci-fi classics for me. 3 and Resurrection are horrendous.

3 and Ressurection are in the file of movies that I pretend don't actually exist. Like the Terminator films after T2. The Star Wars prequels. Arnie's movie Junior. And so on.

I dont miss it.

I get drunk probably once a year, which reminds me how much i hate it as i take 2-3 days to get over it.

What did you think of Prometheus?

Despite so many things not being explained, I did like it. Some genuine creepy moments.

A sequel (or another prequel I guess you could say) is coming this year I believe. Hopefully makes more sense.

I've drank alcohol twice in the last 2 and 1/2 years. Certainly don't miss it, the recovery time for me is similar. 2-3 days that I'd rather spend doing something more productive.

the key to getting over the hangover is having something you actually have to do the next day

most my drinking here is sunday sessions that lead into sunday nights out and then work the next day. dont do it often but i tend to struggle for about 10 mins once i've showered i'm all sweet.

tried these charcoal capsules the day out that Stoinis went nuts in the Chappel-Hadlee and felt $1m the next day
