When I watch it now some of the acting is pretty bad. I have never liked Mark Hamill as an actor.

Well there you go, have never really heard it's acting criticized before. Can only imagine what you think of the prequel acting then.

Huge fan of Mark Hamill. Incredibly talented, his voice work as the Joker is phenomenal as well.

Big call, Hamill is a pretty incredible actor in his voice work as Glen has mentioned, and his work in Star Wars is pretty decent. Then you throw in Guiness, Cushing, Ford, etc. who all put in pretty good shifts in ANH.

I was mainly talking about Hamill out of the main characters. Obviously Guiness and Ford are very good. Hamill did improve later on.

Ok, it's generally regarded as a pretty impressive Sci-Fi flick. Johnson is pretty highly regarded in general though. Surprised you didn't know the name.
