Watched Goosebumps last night. Not a bad flick.
Saw Patriots Day recently too, quite good. Very good acting, captured the tension of the situation very well. Geez that midnight gun fight in the residential street was mayhem, absolute carnage.

Those campaigners would've caused even more destruction had they made it to NYC.

Agree, great film, one of the best I've seen recently. Thought Kevin Bacon was really good as well.

Yeah I said to the mrs that lucky that happened in a way or it could have been much worse.

Love the Asian guy "CATCH THOSE MOTHER******S!"

Lol manager on my last job is a champ, I mentioned to him in the review that I was happy to get such positive comments from him because I'd had a particularly bad review from a manager, so he asked what it was in relation to and told him the story about the manager not being happy with me when I had to stay late, so in the feedback form he just submitted he made a comment about how there were several nights we had to stay back late and I always had a positive attitude.

Not too bad for a Man Utd supporter.

Yes that line was funny but I question if it actually happened or not, no doubt some of the actual events were tweaked to make them more Hollywood friendly. In fact Marky Mark's character is entirely fictional. Didn't know that when I watched it.

The gunning down of that young police officer was brutal though. And the remaining bombs they had really would have caused more carnage. All by watching some DIY videos from Al-Qaeda, who knows how many more of these campaigners are out there preparing for something similar. A sad world we live in at times.

You need a major sport to succeed unless you're government backed.
9 have the NRL and cricket. Seven have the AFL.

Picking up lesser sports like the A League, Big Bash, Winter/Summer Olympics was never going to be enough.

Sport or good reality TV, which they did have, so not sure where it's gone wrong.

Used to watch reality TV then it became stale and over saturated. 3 seasons of Masterchef and it became boring. X Factor/Talent/Dance/Idol etc surely saturation eventually turns people off it, it's all the same stuff really.

The Block was ok but it gave me the shits constantly going over its finish time by like 15-20 minutes. Personally I'm over reality TV. The bachelor, Seven year Switch, House Rules, MKR etc etc have not watched an episode. Much rather Netflix and Foxtel have realised this having expanded their sports channels.

Foxtel know without sport consumers can get a good portion of their content elsewhere.
Look what they've latched onto as well. Champions league/Europa League, other European soccer, NRL, Super Rugby, AFL, away Aus cricket series and international tournaments, MLB/NBA/NFL, Motorsport, Golf. It's a smorgasbord of sport that attracts consumers en masse as it's likely to have something to appeal to you (if you're a sports fan).

The game changer will be if a streaming service ever gets hold of the rights to one of the major sports deals in this country then watch what happens.

Apart from sport how many shows would you watch on FTA excluding news programs??
I cannot think of one at present. Even a FTA staple in The Footy Show is now struggling for ratings.
