Seems a bit petty on their behalf. Sounds like there's a bit of a relationship problem there. You probably need to do more sucking up!

I did bloody suck up that's what's so ridiculous haha, the first four weeks of the job were fine, there was even a point where she asked if someone knew how to download some movie for her and I chucked it on a USB that night and brought it in for her. Then there was literally one day in the last week of the 6-week job that apparently now means I'm shit.

She seemed to sort of just nod and take in what I was saying but didn't really say anything. Just suggested I catch up with the manager. The reviewer is my manager on another job though and was saying how she's never noticed any issues with me, so I think there's that playing in my favour at least.

Like I said, if his voice is "terrible" what are ours? There is no way his voice his poor by any stretch. If it wasn't Harry Styles I reckon you'd have a different outlook.

I think your boss might need to get laid. There's lots of cranky women in the workplace and more often than not they don't have other halfs.

What I will say though in all seriousness, if someone really wants you to work late and you don't have to be somewhere as an emergency, you are kind of expected to do that for them. There's too many bosses out there who will remember it if you don't, especially come report time and they are under these quotas where they have to give someone in the team a lower box marking.

I do like the ending segment of that Harry Styles sing. Not bad little guitar solo going on and he does belt it out alright. As I said I'm not a fan of his falsetto but other than that I've certainly heard a lot worse

Oh right so you ended up working late anyway! Mate she sounds a proper nightmare. I'd consider putting in a grievance- certainly if she continues to single you out. Keep a record of any treatment you consider harsh, because to me it sounds like she is in the wrong here

Yeah exactly, which was why I said what's the ****ing point if I'll still get this grief lol. Should have just walked out and played my football game if I was going to cop it either way. But yeah if I have to work with her again it's not going to be something I look forward to.

I like Bryan Ferrys version, but Elliot Smiths is my fav. So much sadness from a sad soul.
