Music eh - it's probably been my one true companion. Women come and go, usually let you down or vice versa. Mates, **** you over eventually too. Family - not even gonna go there. Even my dog died before his time. Music though will always be there for you.

glenferry23 why is Smither's hair blue in some episodes, Chief Wiggum's black, and Homer's car green? Have always wondered.

Yeah it's strange watching that again, those first few episodes in the first season. Was something to do with the animation company they were using at the time. Barney was also blonde back then.

Do you remember when Smithers was actually black? That was the biggest standout for me. Apparently Groening didn't have the budget to re-animate them back then but obviously that changed once the show took off.

Yeah I expressed that I was pretty disappointed with being told I'm "not a team player" despite what I did being basically the definition of that haha. It's been suggested I catch up with the manager but I'm not too keen to do that as it's pretty clear she has a grudge against me and I don't really think it would be too productive a meeting.

You have to stop thinking about yourself and be more of a team player.

I do like the ending segment of that Harry Styles sing. Not bad little guitar solo going on and he does belt it out alright. As I said I'm not a fan of his falsetto but other than that I've certainly heard a lot worse

I've never even heard a Harry Styles song and I still know they're shit.

Classic. Did you ever see 8 Days A Week, The Beatles documentary from last year? It actually covers their US tour and when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan show, it's brilliant viewing.

Don't necessarily have to be a Beatles fan in order to enjoy the documentary either.

Out of curiosity, where do you rate Season One in comparison to the other seasons? It just feels so weird!

It'd be right up your alley actually, a music aficionado like yourself would definitely enjoy it. Really is brilliant viewing.

Very much agree. It does seem out of place a bit, the animation itself is jarring too. I consider the golden era to be about seasons 2-10.

Having said that, season one does still have some classic moments, and I would still prefer it to the some of the crap the show has dished up in the last ten years or so.
