You can't really. Could save England by sending Corbyn there.
Are you not a fan of Corbyn? I think the spectre of socialism is looming as the flaws of capitalism become increasingly more evident. What have people got to lose, particularly the young?

Not really a fan of anyone that supports terrorists rights and flip flops on key decisions when he feels like it. His stance on brexit is laughable and i struggle to vote for people that have never worked a real job in their life.

Big generalisation but the Corbyn supporters i know are all champagne socialists who dont know their arsehole from the earhole. I am only 32 and i have a crap load to lose and so will my kids if that DH gets in power.

Whenever i think the Tories are an absolute shambles and need a reset, Labour seem to dig deep to show me that they aren't an alternative. Did you see Swinson a few days ago too? She is no alternative either, Lib Dems have no policy except for anti brexit.

Global politics is so f*cked at the moment and Boris is the lesser of two evils.

Corbyn is a dangerous fraud, although McDonnell is an even worse menace. They won’t get in alone but if Boris doesn’t land an outright majority they could sneak in as part of a coalition, although I understand Swinson wants no part of a lab/lib coalition.

The ironic thing is the tories have long since stopped being a true Conservative party. The fact that these kids supporting Corbyn plus all those champagne socialists as you rightfully call them already view this tory government as a hard right wing party when the reality is they are centre left is truly quite worrying. Really the likes of me and you are just forced into voting for them because the alternative would be so bad. The deal Boris wants to push through will be a soft one also with Farrage unsupportive so a split in the vote could let the remainer parties in.

The whole election is basically another referendum in all but name. The way I’ll see it is the tories will win but not get enough seats to push their deal through - unless they’ve deselected all the tories who have been voting against a deal. If the tories lose then * knows where we are heading and what sort of coalition will be in place.

I suppose the biggest question is why are global politics in such a state at present. What’s been driving it all

Anyone been to Qatar. I cocked up a flight and am probably going to have a 24 hour stopover there in Jan.

Going to get a hotel and sleep a bit but might explore in the afternoon/evening. Will have mrs moomba and the kids (11 and 9) with me.

This is very concerning...

Gee, what a poorly written piece of so called journalism this is! I've read it twice and it still appears to be a jumbled mess with lot of dialogue about nothing, aside from the obvious anti-right wing narrative with many 'Nazi' references throughout.

I also note there are several references to 'right-wing extremists' but the article presents no actual evidence of this. Have the AFD or NDP parties broken the law, committed acts of terror and violence, injured or killed people? Generally speaking this is what most 'extremists' do.

My general understanding of both the right-wing parties referenced is they have some strong views about immigration and other policy, but my knowledge is limited beyond that, so when you say; 'This is very concerning', grateful you elaborate?

The climate will be great at least around that time of year. Sister in law's old man spent 5 years working there. Her and her husband spent a month staying with him and didn't like it very much. It's very opulent but not much to do for kids. Plenty of expensive shopping, send the missus with the credit card and she'll be happy. They aren't as liberal as Dubai when it comes to woman covering up either. Have to be careful outside the "western" zones that your missus has a veil on or there can be issues. There are westerner only "pubs" where you can have a drink after putting the wife and kids to bed.

Pity you weren't there prior to Christmas from the 18th to the 22nd. There would have been plenty to keep you occupied then......

I'm on my way to the UK for Easter via Hong Kong, might bring a baton with me just to be safe!!

None of you *ers grew up watching the Muppets so stop making out you know what they are. Stick to the Wiggles

How can one person be both Statler and Waldorf?

The Muppet Show stopped in the early 80’s. Whatever you watched was just a pale imitation I expect.
Repeats? Muppets in space? Many great kids shows finished before I was born but they had plenty of repeats. Like Robotech, Scooby doo, Looney Tunes, Jetsons, Flintstones etc.

As tempting as it is to reply with a banal "ok boomer" Sesame Street was far more educational than the Muppets were.

I can see why my dad hates Elmo though

Repeats are alright but they do lose some of their cultural context. Didn’t the Muppet Show have a big star guest on every show interacting with the muppets? you lose some context of that on repeats. The classic Scooby-Doo predates me, but they were timeless. I think all those Hanna-Barbera cartoons went to s**t later on, probably sometime in the 1980’s.

Lol what a conversation
