I can dettach easily enough - and even with two daughers (wife was actually still pregnant when we watched it last week), and I found it OK.

Yeah I think I struggle to detach a bit, hard not to imagine my little one in those situations so find it pretty tough to get through. I think it's probably worth trying to force my way through just so I'm not putting my head in the sand about this stuff though.

I mean, of course it can happen to anyone's child.

It was more what if my kid turned out like that, rather than get killed.
