I hate doing postal votes here because it's difficult to go find someone else on the registerFirst time doing a postal vote. Received it today, filled out and posted. I might be the first person in Australia who has voted.![]()
There's a few and I know a few from other things but they're not the type of people I like to keep in regular contact with. I can vote in person at the embassy though which is about a 4min walk away luckily.Damn, you’re right. You live in Ireland, so would be very difficult finding an Aussie around.
Shame. Needed to be a tad longer.
As he lets go of the pitch someone in the crowd yells SERENITY NOW.
Don't often use this word but i'll make an exception ...was gobsmacked! Epic episode, had no idea of what happened in the game.Cracking episode of The Last of Us. What a show.
Never. We're having it in reverse though, the youngest (who doesn't know his own strength) is grabbing, pulling etc his brother. Have to try and explain to him that he doesn't understand that he's hurting him haha.Jatz did your eldest ever hit your youngest one? Our toddler will eye gauge, squeeze her head/hands/feet or shake the bassinet.
We don't know why, because she was such a gentle little girl only a few months ago.
I love our second one but I'm so over the not sleeping. I've slept in our bed once this last week because he just won't stay asleep and Mum gets sick of getting up to get him so that she can feed him.
She'd love another one or two kids but I am absolutely done haha.

Very likely jealousy I'd guess. Our eldest gets that from time to time but he shows it by being quiet in like a corner or something, just goes completely into his shell. Hard to blame them, they go from being your whole world to being half of your whole world. How old is your little one now?
Funnily enough, our toddler had the best sleep she's had in a long time. Granted, my wife had to get into bed with her and sleep with her, but she woke up after 6 and she was like a different kid.I love our second one but I'm so over the not sleeping. Ah, interesting.
She is 5 weeks.

Have you tried sleep training?
Yeah, the rough nights are brutal. I am back to work Monday (still got my unpaid leave though), so it's going to be interesting getting through tough days at work when I've been up since 4.30 with a broken sleep. It's what it is, doesn't mean it's very fun though.
My wife also wants another but I am done. We did IVF, but the costs, the sleepless nights and bloody cost of living too, it's a hard no.
His cot is in his room, the little lump outgrew his bassinet in record time.Is his cot in your room or his room? We only moved ours out of our room around the time she turned one for that reason that it was so much easier to roll over and pick her up for feeding or to settle her rather than walk over to her room.
Yeah sometimes that's needed. We've run out of beds in our house due to the eldest moving into his own room so I've been on our big couch recently haha. Back is starting to feel it a bit but it's just one of those sacrifices for now.Ah, interesting.

Ah yeah we're lucky the cot fit in our room even after she outgrew the bassinet. His cot is in his room, the little lump outgrew his bassinet in record time.
He'd been a much better sleeper before this recent development leap, hoping he settles again soon. Been a pretty ordinary month though.
Mum actually laid one of her dresses down in his cot to try and help give him the sense of comfort through smell but no luck so far.
We didn't have much choice, after she got braced at 3 months old, getting her to sleep was a challenge pretty much every night. Each to their own but for us this was something we have never even entertained.
